This flower-shaped gold panel is opened when the telescope is fully positioned in space. This was the last major obstacle in the operation of the telescope. Now the James Webb Telescope is ready to study every phase of the history of the universe. NASA tweeted, 'Last wing has been deployed.'

 This 21-foot-long panel has been called the 'Golden Eye' of the telescope. Mission Chief Thomas Zurbuchen said, 'I am emotional to see this beautiful telescope in the sky. This is amazing and will prove to be a milestone in the field of space. It will also start working soon. Built at a cost of 10 billion dollars, this telescope is more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope. It is capable of studying stars and galaxies that formed 13.7 billion years ago.
The James Webb Space Telescope is the world's most powerful telescope built by NASA, the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency. It has a golden mirror, whose width is about 21.32 feet. This mirror is made by joining 18 hexagon pieces made of beryllium. Each piece is plated with 48.2 grams of gold, so that it acts as a reflector.
Space is full of solar waste that is constantly rotating. At the same time, giant meteorites and comets are also a major threat to satellites. In such a situation, it will be the responsibility of the scientists to protect this telescope from such dangers. If there is no damage to it, then it will continue to do its work continuously for 5 to 10 years.
NASA said that it was challenging to open the telescope in space, James Webb has been considered the successor of the Hubble Telescope. It was launched on 25 December from French Guiana via Ariane 5 rocket. Through this, the target has been set to see up to 13 billion light years away. The mystery of the universe will be removed through the telescope. The James Webb Telescope is positioned away from Earth and the Moon.
